Town Web clients will benefit from merger with Tweak Social Media & Marketing

In 2019, Town Web Design LLC acquired Tweak Social Media & Marketing, a Door County, Wisconsin, agency. This acquisition added more full-time staff to improve customer service for all of our clients. Additionally, Tweak team members are experts in tourism marketing, a bonus if your community relies on tourists and visitors.

Tweak is the most well-known and respected marketing agency in the Door County, Wisconsin area, providing social media marketing and related services to clients. Its focus is on tourism, although it serves clients in all categories, including businesses selling both services and products, government agencies and non-profit organizations.

Check out all of the benefits of acquiring Tweak.

Benefits of merging with Tweak

  1.     Bigger team

Acquiring Tweak means our team is even bigger. We now have 14 people on staff to serve you. A more robust staff offers greater opportunities for us to serve you to the best of all of our abilities.

  1.     Efficient and effective staff

Adding staff increases our efficiency and effectiveness as a team. Additional staff allows our individual members to focus on their areas of expertise: municipal web design, account management, project management and customer support. Rather than doing more things, each staff member can niche down to what he or she does best. Adding staff members means we have more people to do what we need to accomplish for each client, so we can really dig deep for you. Specifically, by adding staff, we were able to add another dedicated web designer and team members focused on customer support.

  1.     Excellent customer service

Customer service always has been a cornerstone for Town Web. Founder Dustin Overbeck started Town Web to help municipal clerks post agendas and meeting minutes online easily. He was solving a problem for clerks who didn’t have the expertise necessary to do that part of their jobs. Providing great customer service to clerks was key, and it remains so today. Town Web clients who choose us for website hosting and maintenance can enjoy 24/7 “white glove” customer support. Like a butler, we take care of your every website need and wish, any time of the day or night.

Adding staff with Tweak means even more people to provide the customer service you want and need.

  1.     Wider range of products and services

Town Web has been your municipal website design and hosting provider. Since our start in 2007, we’ve served hundreds of clients, many of whom still use our services today. Our narrow focus on municipal website design has made us the expert when it comes to websites for towns, villages, cities and government agencies. We know what works and what doesn’t. We know what you need and how to provide it. As the host for municipal websites, we ensure they are monitored and backed up daily, and operating at peak levels with 99.9% uptime. None of that will change.

While many of Tweak’s customers are in the tourism space, such as lodges and resorts, we also have a number that are non-profits, serving the greater good of the community. With Town Web and Tweak, we can incorporate website design and hosting to non-profit agencies and organizations and even businesses in your community.

  1.     Tourism experts

Door County in Wisconsin is heavily focused on tourism. Visitors flock each year to this peninsula that stretches between Green Bay and Lake Michigan. It’s known for its natural beauty, with long shorelines, many parks, lighthouses and towns that cater to tourists. Being situated in Door County, Tweak staff are experts when it comes to tourism and reaching potential visitors. They can share their expertise with Town Web clients who wish to add a tourism element to their websites.

Town Web helped the Village of Cassville on the Mississippi River in western Wisconsin develop a municipal website to serve all of its users. It features three microsites: one for village residents, one for ferry users and one for tourists. Communities that rely on tourism could benefit from similar website design, and Tweak staff are the experts to lead the way.

  1.     Door County office

Town Web has its roots in Door County, where founder Dustin was born and raised. He grew up in Sturgeon Bay and founded Town Web there in 2007. After operating Town Web in Sturgeon Bay for many years, he moved the headquarters to Madison, Wisconsin, and grew the business nationally, although many clients are based in Wisconsin. Adding Tweak brings back a Door County office for Town Web.
