Our pricing is based on population size. Generally speaking, a larger town has more departments pages, more content to add, and more people to support than smaller towns.
We offer fixed-price web design. You do not need to worry about overages or hidden prices. For towns who wish to sign a 3-year hosting agreement, we will discount your set-up fee!
The web design process can be done in about a month if you have all the content ready to go (photos, files, and documents) and can give fast approval.
But generally a website can take three+ months if a town only has one monthly meeting and needs to request information and approval from the board.
When a town signs up with us for a three-year hosting commitment, we will waive the Set-Up Fee. Our commitment is to keep your annual web hosting fee locked-in during that three year period.
While we do not anticipate in raising the hosting fee after three years, the cost could go up slightly based on inflation over the three year period.
Inflation is estimated to be just 2.5% over a three year period. This would mean the price could increase by just $1.40/mo for our lowest tier.
No; if you wish to do a three year hosting commitment, we will bill you the same amount for each of the three years.
Note that your second year's hosting is due 12 months from the date in which your new site goes live. This means that you do not pay for any hosting while your site is under development.
Yes, you can absolutely keep your domain name. We will help you transfer it from the old web hosting provider and make the technical Name Server and/or A Name Record edits so that your existing domain name can be used on your new website.
No, you will not have to move any content. We will do the data migration for you. What we will do is take all the content from your old site and add it to the new site.
If your old site has very old and outdated information that you do not want moved over to the new site, you just let us know.
Additionally, if your old site does not have some information that you would like your new site to have, you just send it to us. We will create new pages on the new site for any additional information that you would like to include.
In 2017 we started offering 24/7 support to all our customers as an added benefit. We have Tier 1 support that answers our support tickets around the clock.
During normal business hours 7am - 4pm Central Time, we have a receptionist service that takes phone calls and relays them to our team, whether its a support question, billing question, sales or anything related to an on-going project. These messages are filtered to the appropriate department or person.
Additionally we also offer online chatting to customer when they are logged into their website's Admin section. This gives us an efficient way to communicate with each client. Since you're logged into your website we will already know who you are, your title and what town site you have got questions about. And we even have the ability to do real-time co-browsing with you if you wish to do so. (It is sort of like screen sharing).
